Annie and Baker’s story began under disco lights and Halloween costumes at a roller rink party. Spotting Baker across the rink, Annie joked to their mutual friend Hayes, “That guy over there is my future husband.” Taking his matchmaking role seriously, Hayes skated over to Baker to spark the introduction that would change everything.

They officially met soon after at the University of Tennessee’s Chick-fil-A, where a joke quickly turned into fate. From freshman year on, Annie and Baker were inseparable—sharing late-night study sessions, football Saturdays, and unforgettable college memories, from cheering at sporting events to adventures as far as California.

What began with a playful comment and a bold friend has grown into a love full of laughter and faith. Annie and Baker feel deeply blessed by God’s goodness and the incredible community around them as they joyfully look forward to spending the rest of their lives together.
